The Procussions - Up All Night

Mr. J. Medeiros (rap),  Resonant (rap) and Stro The 89th Key (keyboards, drums, rap) form the american Hip-Hop group, The Procussions. "Up All Night" was recorded in a night jam session that combines jazz fusion including Fender Rhodes & spoken words, mixed by Jason Skills (from The Sound Providers). After they were signed to Rawkus Records, they released their second album "5 Sparows For 2 Cents" including featurings such as Talib Kweli on "Miss January" (2006) and recorded "It's All Real" on "Shattered Soul On A Pastel Sky", first album of Shin-Ski (2007). An enhanced limited edition was released the same year in japan with five bonus tracks whose the unreleased Life Of Brian and the fantastic Shin-Ski's remix of "Introducing... (What's Your Name?)" feat. DJ Ryow on turntables and one video clip directed by Brandon Kraines.

Naphta Newman is a british rapper, producer and owner of Whashington Classics label. He released his debut album "Classic Was The Day" in 1997 and recorded various songs with the japanese Hip-Hop producer Nujabes for Hyde Out Productions, bringing him to regularly tour in Japan thereafter. His influences include De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Gang Starr but also R&B artists, and performed opening acts for The Roots, Eminem or Destiny’s Child during their European tour. "Blackcurrent Jazz" is the meeting of Hip-Hop and Jazz with its interpolations, including the swing style, as evidenced the samples used by Newman in particular on "Confused?" or "Keeping It Classic". CYNE (for "Cultivating Your New Experience") is an american alternative and abstract Hip-Hop band from Florida, influenced by the meditations of Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
