"It's Your Thing" is the last album of Señor Soul, a Funk/Soul band to the latin flavour, first incarnation of WAR formed by Charles 'Chuck' Miller in 1967. Miller was a multi-instrumentalist influenced by latin music who started as studio musician in particular to recording sessions of The Ray Charles Band. Later, he formed WAR with the Eric Burdon's contribution including Charles Miller's new band, "The Night Shift" featuring Harold Brown, Howard E. Scott & Papa Dee Allen, Lee Oskar joinging them thereafter. Titles include several songs composed by Mo Rodgers, producer for Double Shot Records, Soul&Rock covers songs from The Isley Brothers (It's Your Thing), Lee Dorsey (Working In The Coalmine), The Creedance (Proud Mary), jazz standard (By The Time I Get To Phoenix) and original composition by Charles Miller (Soul Fiesta). It features Charles Miller (sax, fl, org), Edwin Stevenson (vib, p), Willie Briggs (eb), Howard Talley (eg) and James Tillman Crump (ds).
