"A Classic Example Of A..." is the fifth album by british Hip-Hop rapper/producer Funky DL released on Japanese Hip-Hop label Bad News Records. It mixes R'N'B & Jazz including several featurings with DJ Stixx (Rhymin' 76), MC Dukus Alemay (Rhymin' 76, Your Night, Hold On, Wait Up) and Lei-An (C'Mon, Star Signs, Wealthy). Dukus Alemay and Lei-An are part of the Funky DL's project "Gemini Infinity". The title probably refers to "The Infamous Date Rape" by A Tribe Called Quest extracted from "The Low End Theory" released in 1991.

The new album by the Hip-Hop trio featuring american DJ/rapper Insight supported by japanese DJ Ryow and beatmaker/producer Shin-Ski, in an worldwide project gathering several MCs from various countries including Europe, Asia & America. It features Geronimo MC from Germany, Moby Dee from France, Dagha, Shazzo, SayLove, Sendu, Educated Advocates from U.S., Hip-Hop Band Midicronica, SKY-HI from Japan and Soft Lipa from Taïwan. "Moonlight Sunrise" is a little bit different than their two previous albums including more electronic sounds and R&B style. All cuts performed by DJ Ryow, composed and arranged by Shin-Ski, lyrics by Insight, produced by ShinSight Trio.

Insight (born Andre Todman) is a prolific multi-instrumentalist, self-producer, rapper & DJ from the Boston alternative hip-hop scene, founder member of numerous Hip-Hop collectives such as ShinSight Trio, Electric Company or Y Society, in charge of several productions under various pseudonyms like Soloplexus. Naphta Newman is a british rapper, producer and owner of Whashington Classics label. He released his debut album "Classic Was The Day" in 1997 and recorded various songs with the japanese Hip-Hop producer Nujabes for Hyde Out Productions, bringing him to regularly tour in Japan thereafter. His influences include De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Gang Starr but also R&B artists, and performed opening acts for The Roots, Eminem or Destiny’s Child during their European tour. "Blackcurrent Jazz" is the meeting of Hip-Hop and Jazz with its interpolations, including the swing style, as evidenced the samples used by Newman in particular on "Confused?" or "Keeping It Classic". Titles include also featurings with Guile on "Wonderful", Sienna on "The Music") and "High Endurance" produced by DJ Parris. This album exists in enhanced edition including three bonus tracks especially released for Japan ("Turntables Hate Me", "It Still Rocks", "Long Remix").
