"Hair Is Beautiful" revisists the popular songs of the Broadway Rock Musical including "Aquarius", "I Got Life", "Ain't Got No", "Hare Krishna" and nice jerk versions of "Walking In Space" & "Donna". Considered as one of the greatest jazz guitarist of the 20th century, Barney Kessel evolved in eminent jazz formations including the Oscar Peterson Trio, played alongside Charlie Parker, Ray Brown, was sideman for Milt Jackson, Oliver Nelson, Art Tatum and Sonny Rollins. As session musician within The Wrecking Crew collective, he collaborated to numerous recordings sessions for various international pop artists from The Beach Boys (on "Pet Sound" sessions) to Frank Sinatra by The Monkees. Recorded in London with only British musicians featuring Ike Isaacs on guitar, Tony Campo on bass, Barry Morgan on drums, Kenny Salmon & Steve Gray on organ.
