"A Groovy Situation" is the fourth album recorded for Blue Note by organist Reuben Wilson featuring Eddie Diehl on guitar, Earl Turbinton on alto saxophone and Harold White on drums. It's also the last record of a Soul Jazz tetralogy started from "On Broadway" in 1968, before turn to a more jazz funk style with "Set Us Free" the same year. Titles include Stevie Wonder's iconic song "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours", massive pop hit of The Turtles "Happy Together", R&B classic "Groovy Situation" by Gene Chandler and original compositions by Reuben Wilson (While The World Lies Waiting, Sweet Tooth).
