The debut album of an american rhythm section produced by Larry Mizell, formed & supervised by Donald Byrd for six students of music department from the Howard University, playing Jazz Funk fusion. It's a typical Mizell Brothers production, a music conceived for dancefloor based on Funk/Soul arrangements, as was done for for the Donald Byrd & Bobbi Humphrey (Fancy Dancer) albums, recorded during the seventies. Most of the tracks include original compositions of Donald Byrd such as "Do It, Fluid" or "Funky Junkie", Larry Mizell's contribution with "Life Styles" and Allan Barnes' "Summer Love".
