One of the best and most popular brazilian jazz songstress since the sixties until his death in 1982, nicknamed the "Queen of Bossa". Recorded outside Brazil during her European tour at Philips Studio in Stanhope House, London, "In London" mixes Bossa Nova, Afro-Cuban Jazz & Pop sounds featuring legendary brazilian musicians who supported her on stage such as Antonio Adolofo (p), Roberto Menescal (g) Wilson Das Neves (ds). Titles include bossa nova standards by Edu Lobo (Upa Neguinho, Corrida De Jangada), Jorge Ben (Zazueira), Jobim (How Insensitive), iconic brazilian pop song "Se Võce Pensa" (Roberto/Erasmo Carlos) and "Watch What Happens" by Michel Legrand. All tracks conducted, arranged by Peter Knight & His Orchestra.
