Debut album of Teruo Nakamura, recorded in New York City and released under the legendary japanese Fusion Jazz label, TBM (Three Blind Mice). Teruo is surrounded by some of the best American Jazz Fusion players featuring Lenny White (best kown as fromer member of Return To Forever and drummer in the Miles Davis' Bitches Brew sessions, 1970), Steve Grossman & Alphonse Mouzon. Titles includes Understanding & Umma Be Me composed by Hubert Eaves III featuring Sandy Hewitt on vocals, the Jazz cover of Coltrane's Some Other Blues, New Moon by Steve Grossman, the Latin tune Derrick's Dance by John Miller and the original composition of Teruo, Unicorn Lady. All tracks arranged by Teruo Nakamura.
