The group was formed by trumpeter Tabu Zombie and Sacho  who used to play in jam session with DJs in the dance clubs of Tokyo. The consecration came on stage when they were invited to perform their music at the Fuji Rock Festival in the summer 2003. Outside of Japan, they were introduced, in 2005, by british DJ Giles Peterson on the Acid Jazz label, broadcasted on his show on the BBC radio ("Worldwide") and then released for Europe & US. Titles include tracks from their Pimpin' EP, Fuller Love & Harbor by Bobby Watson, jazz cover Wives And Lovers by Bacharah & David and the theme of the band called Satsuriku No Theme.
