"Vento Sul" closes the psychedelic era of Marcos Valle started from "Mustang Côr De Sangue" in 1969. His most original work, a progressive rock album including experimental pop, psychedelia and latin elements, deeply inspired by the "White Album" of The Beatles and the arrangements of George Martin. It was composed in Buzios, a popular city of Brazilian surf and conterculture (hippie community), where various international public figures have stayed there such as Brigitte Bardot. Marcos is supported by latin rock band "O Terço" featuring César de Mercês (eb), Cláudio Guimarães, Fredera, Sérgio Hinds (eg), Vinícius Cantuária, Robertinho Silva (ds, perc) and Paulo Guimarães (fl). Titles include psychedelic folk ("Malena", "Voo Cego"), progressive rock (the protest song "Revolução Orgãnica"), pop ballads ("Vento Sul", "Deixa O Mundo E Sol Entrar") and even heavy metal (Mi Hermoza).
