The Norio Maeda Trio is among the finest japanese jazz formation actives during the seventies, including Takeshi Inomata on drums (regular sideman for Maeda), Yasuo Arakawa on bass and featuring american shakuhachi player (bamboo flute), John 'Kaizan' Neptune as guest on "Bamboo Blues".
