One of Quincy’s best-known record with the hit track Soul Bossa Nova that can be heard in the movie Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery (1997). Quincy discovered Bossa Nova when he moved to Buenos Aires for a tour and met the brazilian pianist Lalo Schifrin. Quincy Jones & His Orchestra is formed by brass band, horns & rhythm section featuring Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Jim Hall, Phil Woods and of course Lalo Schifrin.  Titles include original compositions by Quincy Jones, Jobim & Bonfa (Desafinado, Manha De CarnavalOne Note Samba, Chega De Suadade), the Lalo Bossa Nova tune and Boogie Bossa Nova by Charlie Mingus. Written, arranged, conducted and produced by Quincy Jones.
