African Music Machine ~ DiSCO Hi-LiFE


Get into the west african Funk scene of late seventies from the cameroonian and nigerian highlife's post era. This "new wave" of Funk adds an african touch to the US Disco, Boogie & Jazz-Funk styles, featuring multi-instrumentalists, arrangers and influential producers such as Pasteur Lappé, Emma Baloka, J.M. Tim & Foty, Orlando Julius, Jo Bisso, Eko Roosevelt, Livy Ekemezie, Odion Iruoje and many others. All tracks recorded between 1977-1983. Compiled & Mixed by Be Hard Bop.
