One of best and most popular brazilian jazz songstress from the sixties until his death in 1982, the "Queen of Bossa", Elis Regina, recorded this unique album outside Brazil at Philips Studio in Stanhope House, London. "Elis Regina In London" mixes Bossa Nova, Afro Cuban Jazz & Pop music arranged by british arranger Peter Knight, featuring legendary brazilian musicians such as Antonio Adolofo, Roberto Manascal & Wilson Das Neves plus orchestra. Titles include brazilian standards such as the Edu Lobo’s Upa Neguinho  Jorge Ben's Zazueira, Tom Jobim's How Insensitive as well as the pop songs "Se Võce Pensa" (Roberto/Erasmo Carlos) & "Watch What Happens" (Michel Legrand).
