George Benson 'Bad Benson' 1974

George Benson shows us his Wes Montgomery influences with his funky soul-jazz. Bad Benson is a collection of different kind music choices as smooth and straight ahead jazz with the funky variation of the classic Paul Desmond' Take Five. The rhythm section includes Phil Upchurch (guitar, electric bass, percussion), drummer Steve Gadd, bassist Ron Carter, pianist Kenny Barron . The string & horn section is conducted by Don Sebesky.
