Considered as one of best 100 Hip-Hop album ever recorded, "People's Instinctive Travels And The Paths Of Rhythm" is among the most influencing album in the Hip-Hop history including the iconic classic "Can I Kick It ?"(with famous introducing extracted from "Walk On The Wild Side" composed by Lou Reed). It's also the last album before Jarobi White left the band. Titles include "I Left My Wallet In El Segundo" & "Bonita Applebum" (debut and second singles), "Pubic Enemy" featuring DJ Red Alert and tribute to french Hip-Hop producer Lucien Papalu from The Native Tongues "Luck Of Lucien".

Gil Scott-Heron - Pieces Of A Man

"Pieces Of A Man" is a Soul Jazz album featuring Brian Jackson (p), Ron Carter (eb), Hubert Laws (fl, sax), Burt Jones (eg) and Bernard "Pretty" Purdie (ds). Gil Scott-Heron speaks about social and political issues of his time including slam forms and protest speech, in particular on iconic song "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised", major influence for Hip-Hop music. Indeed, Gil Scott-Heron is considered as the first rapper in the history, musician and poet, he started as writer publishing his first novel "The Vulture" in 1969. Influenced by The Last Poets, his music is marked by political and social engagement. He meets musician Brian Jackson at university, it's the beginning of a long time collaboration on seven albums in duet released between 1974-1980, including "Winter In America" with his massive hit "The Bottle". All tracks composed by Brian Jackson & Gil Scott-Heron, conducted by Johnny Pate.

Rare and Holy Grail record of the New York Funk duo, the Pazant Brothers from Pucho & His Latin Soul Brothers. Yuji Ohno featuring Yoshio "Chin" Suzuki & Kenichiro Murata in LUPIN THE THIRD [JAZZ] Part III, the last album with the original formation before Suzuki left the trio. As suggests the title, the musical approach is a bit different than the two first previous releases, including jazz expressions with soul grooves and pop rhythms. Titles include classics songs composed for the Lupin The 3rd serie as always opening "Theme From Lupin III", "Treasures Of Time" (Cagliostro No Shiro's movie theme) and "Zenigata Rock" (Zenigata March/Don't Be Shy Zenigata), variation on the standard Ohno's song "Mayflower" (originally recorded for "Electro Keyboard Orchestra" project in 1975) and new original compositions.
